Give the yard its shape after dark

A spotlight is how a yard keeps its shape at night. Ours puts 14 high-power LED beads behind convex optical lenses, so the light arrives as a focused beam on a trunk, a flag or a wall instead of a vague glow. A larger laminated panel fills the 1500mAh battery in 6 to 8 hours; one press gives high light for 10 to 12 hours, another gives low light for 18 to 20.

• Cool or warm. Cool white for security and house fronts, warm white for trees and planting.
• Two brightness levels. High 10–12 hours, low 18–20 hours — choose with one button.
• 135° of aim. The head tilts through 135° to climb a trunk or skim a wall.
• Ground or wall. Push the stake into a bed or screw the bracket to a fence or eave.
