How to choose an everyday LED flashlight
Lumens tell you how bright the flashlight is at its peak; the beam shape tells you how useful that brightness is. A zoomable head is the best of both: flood for walking the dog or changing a tyre, spot for reading a house number from the curb.
Modes matter more than the top number. High for searching, low for reading, strobe for signalling — and a low mode is also the one that makes a set of batteries last through a long night.
Quick answers
What does zoomable mean?
Slide the head and the beam goes from a wide flood that fills a room to a tight spot that reaches down the yard. Most of our flashlights zoom.
Batteries or rechargeable?
The S2000 runs on three AAA batteries in the included holder, or one larger rechargeable cell in the included tube. The rechargeable models charge by USB and never need a battery run.
Why do you sell them in packs?
Because a flashlight is only useful where you are. One for the car, one for the kitchen drawer, one for the bedside, one for the go-bag.
