A flower bed that blooms twice a day

By day these are lilies: speckled, layered petals in purple, white, light pink and fuchsia, six full blooms on every bendable stem. At dusk the bed blooms again — larger LED beads inside each flower cycle through seven colours. A monocrystalline panel and an 800mAh cell keep them going 12 to 15 hours, and the thicker fabric resists fading in strong sun.
